About us

With over a hundred years of history, we are one of Hamburg's oldest spice traders. Since 1906, we have been there for our customers and supply them with spices, herbs & more as original import raw materials from all over the world.

While Poppe & Groninger GmbH acted as a broker between importers and customers for a long time, we have steadily expanded our activities since the mid-eighties. Since then, we have been taking care of our own import and have supplemented our range of goods with a range of services that we provide for our customers – from picking to finishing.
More power needs more space: Since 2003, we have therefore moved out of Hamburg and to Seevetal, where we operate our own warehouse and store goods in order to be able to independently serve even short-term inquiries at any time.
