The European Union (EU) is one of the world's largest markets for spices and herbs, with most of these products coming to us as dried raw materials from third countries. Along the production and supply chain of raw materials imported worldwide, impurities can naturally occur in many places that are not desired or even pose a health risk. For this reason, detailed analyses are mandatory to ensure their marketability.

Product safety

We take this instruction very seriously, so all our batches are examined very extensively by an independent laboratory, at least for the following parameters:

• Microbiology
• Mycotoxins
• Pesticides

In case of suspicion, the affected batch is re-examined for all parameters for safety – by a second independent laboratory. We also react immediately to current requirements and include, for example, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, ETO or other investigations in the requirements profile.

Additional services for you

In addition to the safety-relevant standards, we offer additional services to accelerate or simplify processes for our customers.

• Finishing
  On request, we can clean, cut or grind your goods. At the same time, we can further improve the quality through additional processes. Among others, these services include:
  • Steam disinfection to reduce the germ load
  • Stock protection treatment
  • Screening of extraneous matter

• Marking/Labelling
  We take care of marking and labelling the goods for you, if necessary also with barcodes.
  
  
• Sampling
  We are happy to sample goods for our customers so that you can convince yourself of the quality.
  
  
• Import processing/customs clearance/transport
  In the case of complete deliveries, we can take care of export processing, transport and customs clearance for you together with a service provider on request.
  
  
• Picking
  According to your order, we will gladly take care of the picking of your goods for a smooth just-in-time delivery.
